This event has a MAXIMUM of 16 participants. Pods will draft and play on Stream for each of 2 rounds.
The winner of this side-event will receive the title of Whale Monarch and preside over the "Court of the Whale." The crowned player gets a small “court” composed of all the other members of the Whale Pod (who wish to participate), and up to 2 additional friends or volunteers. These attendants receive special Whale Badges, and may fawn over their lord for exactly the length of Commander Sealed 2026, heralding their arrival at tables, extolling their virtues on stream, and so on. More importantly, the Whale Monarch may offer a Noble Boon up to 4 times during the course of the weekend, granting a rare booster pack and 200 prize tix to a player them deem most worthy or the best sport during a game they are playing in.
The Whale Monarch will also appear in an interview on a stream associated with Commander Sealed (in addition to streamed matches)
