This 91 piece wooden puzzle is a map of 16th century Venice. We believe it dates to 1565, and was by Bolognino Zaltieri. To make this puzzle suitably challenging for adults, most of the connectors are interchangeable and the pieces are square, so you must pay careful attention to the image (the difficulty rating is "really hard"). The puzzle also features a whimsy piece of the famous Lion of St. Mark, a symbol of Venice. To see example pieces, click on the small image underneath the main product image. This puzzle has a straight edge. The puzzle is laser-cut and the pieces are 1/4" thick wood. Made in USA. Packaged in a small box with a magnetic clasp.
